0.1, 0.5 pens + ink on the back of an A1 mounting board (the shop ran out of white, so i used the reverse of a coloured board!)
took me a week sketching out and filling in with pen and ink. I dont want to go through that again too soon!
It may seem like i have alot of patience, but i cant help rushing the damn things!
It was my first time using pens too.
Meaning?¿?
Well i just wanted to see if i could create a complex mass of creatures that interacted with each other in a violent way, so that everything is eating something else. I wanted to include deceit, rivalry, brutality and irony. I wanted to show creatures slaying other creatures, whose blood runs into the mouths of others, which feeds them and in return, attacks the thing that allowed that blood to flow in the firstplace, etc. I might do another, more complex piece that makes this more obvious, as i feel this turned out too simple and perhaps not too obvious. Looks good tho...
Well man you've done it again, the quality of your work is just so fuckin amazing, I love it!!! Amazing concept which you brought to "life" so damn well, especially for the first time that you have used pens. I would love to be able to do that stuff, its so damn good. The detail is great and I really liked your explanation on the piece, you put a lot of thought into your work and it really shows +fav of course

I like your purpose for this picture. The mass amount of conflict in the creatures is really well portrayed, with the confusion as well. The bottom part of the drawing that looks like either eggs or bubbling sores makes the meaning even darker. I really like this!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
